| Title | 南総里見八犬伝現代語訳全文（できるだけ） – 思い立って今後5年かけて原文を全訳口語訳したいと思っています。中国の四大奇書である水滸伝の影響があるという曲亭馬琴の書いた八犬伝。両方とも一堂に会すまでが最高に楽しいと思います。水滸伝は108人の好漢がトラブルや事件を起こし解決しながら快哉！を叫び梁山泊に集結する物語です（適当）。人肉饅頭がでたりいろいろクレイジーです。北方謙三さんの水滸伝も面白い。八犬伝の原文の挿し絵は馬琴の意図が反映されているので、そういう意味でも原文を読むことをおすすめします。八犬伝の原本の表紙はわんころがかわいくて、表紙に子犬を選ぶセンスがniceです。鳥山明さんは水滸伝や南総里見八犬伝の影響があり、ドラゴンボールをつくったと『鳥山明○作劇場』で書いていた記憶がありますが、本を手放したので記憶が危ういです。西遊記の影響があるのは一目瞭然ですが。長いのですが、八犬士登場からはめくるめく展開で面白い話なのでネット上で無料で読める青空文庫的なものがあるとよいなと思い翻訳しました。原文に忠実にしたいのと古文の力量がないので直訳です。補足として注を多用しています。筆者が南総里見八犬伝に触れたのは、2006年正月に放送されたテレビの『里見八犬伝』がきっかけで、その後図書館で新潮の原文を借りて妹と回し読みしたことが初見です。当時図書館で古典を借りるのがマイブームでした。妹からは『封神演義』を借りたこともありましたが、三国志や太平記など戦記物は興味なく読まなかったので、本書の細かいところ、歴史や仏教や和歌や漢文の部分は、あまり理解せず読みましたが、多少のつっこみどころは許せるくらい、続きが気になる面白い物語だったので完読しました。つっこみどころは室町時代の話なのに挿絵は江戸の風俗全開、着物も髪型も江戸仕様とかあります。古文を翻訳しているのは趣味で勉強しています。漢文はわかりません。なので間違っている箇所に気づいたらご一報いただけると幸いです。このブログは第三者の悪意により検索できないことがありますが、筆者がブログを消すことはありません。原因を確認中です。参考：八犬伝あらすじhttps://www.city.tateyama.chiba.jp/satomi/arasuji/ara_min.html館山市立博物館・歌川国貞画「八犬伝犬の草紙の内」シリーズhttp://history.hanaumikaidou.com/archives/8621 |
